Job Characteristics: This is a senior level job where incumbents require minimal supervision. Incumbents are to perform the following:

(1) PCI DSS and HIPAA regulatory compliance audits of 29 State Agencies within the State of Utah.
(2) Compliance audits with the Department of Technology Services policies and procedures.
(3) Audits of current technology policies and procedures to ensure there compliance with all applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines, etc.

Other duties include preparing summaries and reports, making recommendations for improvement. Incumbents should be familiar with Information Security and data protection principles, and should have knowledge in auditing PCI DSS and HIPAA to help the state move towards compliance.
