Job Characteristics: This senior level Accounting Technician position. With some supervision, incumbent prepares and processes a variety of accounting transactions which include accounts payable, vendor setup and maintenance, accounts receivable, etc. Other duties include reviewing documents for completeness and accuracy, performing adjustments to data and accounts, auditing accounting transactions, reconciling accounts, preparing reports, retrieving files, using databases and computers, updating and entering information into databases or computer systems.
